Background pattern

Our Focus

Targeted interventions. Measurable results. We focus on the areas that matter most for sustainable development.

Who We Are

Think Globally, Act Locally

The Oselobua Family Foundation (OSEFAFO) is a non-governmental humanitarian organisation. We see local challenges in their global context, then act where it counts: in the communities we serve.

Every OSEFAFO programme is aligned with the policies, strategies, protocols, guidelines and frameworks of the United Nations, the African Union, ECOWAS and the national governments where we operate, so that our local work adds up to lasting change on a much larger scale.

Our work contributes to

  1. 1 The United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development
  2. 2 African Union Agenda 2063: The Africa We Want
  3. 3 Africa's Agenda for Children 2040
  4. 4 African Union youth policy, including the African Youth Charter
  5. 5 The ECOWAS Youth Policy
  6. 6 National children's acts, youth policies and women's empowerment initiatives wherever we operate
Where the need is most urgent

We give special attention to

  • Out-of-school children
  • Learning poverty
  • Youth entrepreneurship
  • Mental health
